Every time I read something you've wrote I feel a little more humbled. You're insane dude - can't wait to see what you'll cook up next!

Hey Ricky, thanks for reading. CT 5 was used for the test video. due to a lesser degree of accuracy in CT 4.5 it would have been impossible to get well shaped eyes.

As far as I'm aware you can do what you want with Daz models, so long as you don't re-distribute them.

With the help of Michelle Pettie-Mee I'm looking into the Sims2 details. Hopefully will know on Monday.

An extremely useful and informative post, Doc. I think you've hit the nail on the head with your comment about moving away from games and suddenly finding content to be a big challenge. The integration of content from other programs is one answer. Antics and IClone (for example) are both starting to allow import of Google Warehouse models. What's so cool about your approach is that the models are almost as plentiful and look a lot better than what you get from the Warehouse. The head in the video looks great.

BTW, the new CT 5.0 allows for real-time puppeteering of facial expressions which is an excellent addition to the program.

Last question: if you use models from Daz sites or Sims2 sites, what's the copyright on them? Are these creative commons, or something like that?

-Ricky
